NodeMaven's Three Proxy Products Explained
NodeMaven sells three products, and choosing correctly matters more than any coupon. Residential and mobile proxies share one bandwidth-based subscription; ISP proxies are billed separately per IP.
1. Residential proxies — rotating real-user IPs
The core product: a pool NodeMaven advertises at 30M+ residential IPs across 190+ countries and roughly 1,400 locations, with targeting down to country, state, city, ISP and ZIP code. You can rotate the IP on every request or hold a sticky session. Billing is per gigabyte, and unused traffic rolls over into the next period rather than expiring — a genuinely useful feature that several larger competitors do not offer.
One honest note on sticky sessions: NodeMaven's own pages are inconsistent. The residential product page advertises sticky sessions of up to 7 days, while the pricing page, the IP Quality Filter page and the proxy-server comparison table all say up to 24 hours. Independent testing of 250 sessions found 38.2% lasted beyond 25 minutes and 14.9% ended within five — which is respectable for a residential network, where the ceiling is dictated by the host device staying online, but it is well short of either headline. Plan for session persistence, not session guarantees.
2. Mobile proxies — carrier IPs, bundled in
Every residential subscription also unlocks NodeMaven's mobile pool of real 4G, 5G and LTE carrier addresses, with no separate purchase. Mobile IPs carry unusually high trust on platforms that expect app traffic, which is why they matter for social workflows.
Pool size here is the least reliable number NodeMaven publishes. Its own pages state 250,000 (pricing page), 295,000 (residential and rotating pages) and 200,000+ (proxy-server comparison) in three different places. We could find no independent benchmark of the mobile pool at all. Treat mobile capacity as unverified and test it against your own targets during the trial.
3. ISP proxies — static residential, unlimited traffic
ISP proxies (marketed interchangeably as static residential proxies) are the opposite trade: one dedicated, ISP-assigned IP that stays yours for the entire 30 or 90-day term, with unlimited bandwidth, a vendor-reported 99.9% uptime and sub-0.3-second average speeds. Most providers deal with bad IPs reactively — you hit a blocked address, you rotate, you try again, and you have already paid for the failed request. A second finding is worth designing around. With no location filters applied, roughly a quarter of the IPs Proxyway received were Russian, with Brazil and China next. That is not a defect — it reflects where the underlying network has supply — but if you assume “global” means evenly distributed, your results will surprise you. Read across that table and the shape of NodeMaven becomes clear. In the UK, US and EU it is genuinely fast — half a second in Britain is competitive with anything on the market. Move to Asia-Pacific and it degrades: India averaged 2.18 seconds and the lowest success rate in the set, Australia returned only 35,265 unique IPs. A related weakness appeared under load. On a 2 MB page test, success rates fell to 96.45% globally and 94.82% in the US, with response times of 9.18 and 3.69 seconds respectively — mostly timeouts. NodeMaven prices as a premium product. Residential and mobile bandwidth starts around $4.25/GB at the 2 GB entry tier ($8.50/month) and scales down to a floor of $2.20/GB at 1,000 GB; a 20 GB monthly plan sits at $75, or $3.75/GB, against $90 on pay-as-you-go. Measured against the market, that is expensive. Decodo starts at $3.75/GB and reaches $2.00/GB at a terabyte; Webshare discounts to well under $2/GB; Rayobyte goes to $0.70/GB at multi-terabyte volume. The criticism is equally consistent and worth taking seriously. The most detailed negative review, from January 2026, describes accounts being flagged and banned during multi-account work, with support acknowledging it reproduced the same results before communication stopped; NodeMaven disputed the account publicly and said it issued a full refund.
